These Terms of Service apply to the use of the mobile application "NOlies" and its associated website. By registering and using our services, you agree to these Terms.
NOlies provides an AI-powered service for fact-checking social media videos (e.g., TikTok and YouTube). Results are AI-generated. The provided information is solely for entertainment and general information purposes. It expressly does not constitute legal, medical, financial, or any other professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the AI-generated results; they may contain errors.
To use the app, registration is required (via email and password or Google OAuth). Use is restricted to individuals aged 16 and older. Only one account may be created per person. You are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
An account contract is concluded when registration succeeds. The free test starts when you start it in the app. A paid monthly plan is concluded when you choose it in the app. It then runs for 30 days. The contract is with Luis Kleemann, LT Digital Concepts. You can delete the account in the app under Settings. That deletes chats and analyses, and a running plan ends immediately so it does not renew.
We offer various subscription models (Plans). Daily limits are reset at 00:00 UTC. A fair-use policy applies.
All prices are in US dollars (USD) and are final prices. Due to the small-business rule (§ 19 UStG), no VAT is shown separately. The monthly plan starts when you choose it in the app and runs for 30 days. You can cancel it for the end of that time in the app or at nolies-app.com.
If you switch to another monthly plan, the new plan starts immediately and runs for 30 days.
Paid plans run for one month and then renew until you cancel. You can cancel in the app under Settings, and on this website with the button “Verträge hier kündigen”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. The 7-day test ends by itself and does not renew.
Consumers generally have a right of withdrawal. Detailed information can be found in our separate Cancellation Policy. We specifically draw attention to § 356 Abs. 5 BGB: For digital content, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if you explicitly consent to us beginning performance before the withdrawal period expires, and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal by doing so.
The AI results provided by NOlies are for informational purposes and do not constitute advice. We accept no liability for decisions made based on these results. Our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, we only act liable in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties) limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Liability for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, as well as under the Product Liability Act, remains unaffected. This also applies to our free services pursuant to §§ 521 ff. BGB.
We strive to provide NOlies with as few interruptions as possible (best-effort). However, we do not guarantee a specific uptime. Planned maintenance or technical failures may lead to temporary restrictions.
The app, its source code, design, and provided content (unless sourced from third parties) are protected by copyright. For the links or content you submit for analysis, you grant us a limited license to use them solely for the purpose of processing and contract fulfillment.
You agree not to misuse the app. Automated access (bots, scraping), reverse engineering, and the submission of illegal, violence-glorifying, or otherwise unlawful content are strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms with a 30-day notice period. Modified terms will be communicated via email or in the app. Continued use after this period constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
We reserve the right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your account in the event of serious violations of these Terms (especially misuse).
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of habitual residence (Art. 6 Rome I Regulation) remain unaffected. Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected (severability clause). Amendments must be in text form.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
